Services for Students With Disabilities
SEAC Handbook
The purpose of the York County Special Education Advisory Committee is to advise and assist the York County School Division in identifying strengths and weaknesses of its special education services as well as unmet needs. This committee meets regularly, and the committee is comprised of parents of students with disabilities who attend York County Schools.
The Special Education Advisory Committee meetings meetings include presentations on relevant special education topics and a public comment period. Participation by all parents of students with disabilities is encouraged. If you are interested in providing comments and are unable to attend the monthly meetings, you may provide written comments by submitting them to one of the committee members.
