VDOE is pleased to provide teachers and school divisions with a Web site of instructional resources with connections in foreign language, English, history and social science. These instructional activities are lessons developed by foreign language teachers from across the commonwealth and are intended to serve as models for various instructional strategies. The Web site includes instructional activities correlating the Standards of Learning for French, German, Latin, and Spanish with those in English and history and social science and includes instructional activities for beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.

The purpose of this Web site is to enhance teachers' content knowledge and awareness of connections among disciplines and their use of instructional strategies correlating the Standards of Learning for foreign language, English, and history and social science.
