Eric Williams, Ed.D. began his tenure as YCSD superintendent in July 2008. As chief executive officer, the superintendent is entrusted with full authority for the administrative management of the school division according to School Board policies, state laws, federal laws, federal regulations and State Board of Education regulations.

Three cabinet officers report to the superintendent and, under his supervision and direction, oversee instruction, finance and operations departments.
