1)Yes, Bruton

| 2) Does Bruton offer
an advanced studies program for gifted students?

2) To graduate
with a Advanced Studies Diploma (24
credits) on or after July 1, 2003, students must have successfully
completed the following Standard Units of Credit: English/4; History
and Social Sciences/4; Mathematics/4; Laboratory Science/4; Foreign
Language/3; Health and PE/2; Fine or Practical Arts/1; and Electives/2.
In 2001, it was established that students must earn nine (9) verified
credits. |

AP English 12 (Literature, Composition, and Grammar), AP US History,
AP US Government, AP Calculus, AP Computer Science, AP Statistics,
AP Biology, AP Chemistry, Note: AP Biology is taught in even years;
AP Chem is taught in odd years. |

for special needs students?

4) Yes, special
education courses are provided for students eligible for special education
services. Credit-bearing special education courses may not meet course
requirements for a standard diploma. |
