Important 2008/09 School Year Information

1.                 Meet and Greet Schedule

Date:  Thursday, August 28th

Grades K, & 3                                   12:00-12:30 PM

Grades 1 & 4                                     12:30-1:00 PM

Grades 2 & 5                                    1:00-1:30 PM

Please stop by with your child during the indicated time frame to “meet and greet” your child’s teacher.

2.                 Classroom Placements

Class rolls will be posted outside of each classroom and in the cafeteria during the Meet and Greet on August 28th.  The rolls and supply list will be available for review on the front doors of the school after the Meet and Greet prior to the first day of school for parents who are unable to attend.

4.                 Transportation

The transportation department will notify all new students who register by mail regarding pick-up and drop-off location, estimated time and bus route number. Students registering close to opening day can receive transportation information from the school office. If your transportation arrangements are different from your home address, you must submit your request in writing to the school office.  This request must be submitted every school year.
