High School Academy

High School Academy is designed for rising 9-12 grade students. High school students may earn a repeat credit. For a semester mathematics Part B course, students may earn either .5 repeat credit or .5 original credit. Each course is 74 instructional class hours; credit cannot be awarded to students who fail to receive 74 hours of instruction. There are no exam exemptions during Summer Academy. Driver Education/Behind-the-Wheel instruction is not offered. Courses with low enrollment may not be offered. High School Academy course offerings are not intended for International Baccalaureate students. Tuition is $450 for York County residents; tuition is $500 for non-resident students. Checks are made payable to the school where registration is completed. Scholarships will not be offered for high school credit-bearing classes. If a course is cancelled or a student withdraws from High School Academy prior to the start of classes, a refund of tuition will be made by July 12. Parents who wish to enroll their child in this academy must contact their child's guidance counselor to complete the online registration.
