The High School SOL Academy is designed for students who have passed the English 11, Algebra I, or Earth Science course but have not passed the SOL test for the course and therefore have not earned the required verified credit for graduation. These students may take a summer remediation course in English 11, Algebra I, or Earth Science and retake the SOL test at the end of the High School SOL Academy. Students are identified for the High School SOL Academy by their school principal. Tuition is not charged for the High School SOL Academy, and parents who wish to enroll their child in this academy must contact their child's guidance counselor to complete the online registration. Recommended students may register for up to two (2) courses.

- Recommended students may register for up to two (2) courses.
- Currently enrolled students who meet the criteria for this academy may register for a course in the High School SOL Academy at their home school until June 8. Students who have not registered by June 8 must register on Tuesday – Wednesday, June 19 – 20, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at York High School. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER JUNE 21.
