  8. Name one thing you learned in high school that you didn’t expect to learn: I learned that nicknames are both endearing and annoying because no one can pronounce my name correctly.
  9. Name one person who has influenced you and why: Dr. Rhett Woo, my physics teacher. I learned within the first month of Dr. Woo’s class that physics does not come naturally to me. Dr. Woo was always there with a smile and a high five to help me. He taught me not only physics but also how to cope with failure and gave me confidence in my own ability to face challenges
  10. Is there a teacher you would most like to thank and why: Mr. Zak Minor. His class taught me to see the world from a new perspective, as well as the skills necessary to be successful in high school. He is an amazing teacher and tennis coach.

  12. Most cherished high school memory: The House Project in my physics class. We were assigned to design and wire the electric circuits for a model house, so my group, Team Synergy, built a castle with a spinning spiral staircase, a fire-breathing dragon, and green glitter. Go Team Synergy!
