- Name one thing you learned in high school that you didn’t expect to learn: I learned that nicknames are both endearing and annoying because no one can pronounce my name correctly.
- Name one person who has influenced you and why: Dr. Rhett Woo, my physics teacher. I learned within the first month of Dr. Woo’s class that physics does not come naturally to me. Dr. Woo was always there with a smile and a high five to help me. He taught me not only physics but also how to cope with failure and gave me confidence in my own ability to face challenges
- Is there a teacher you would most like to thank and why: Mr. Zak Minor. His class taught me to see the world from a new perspective, as well as the skills necessary to be successful in high school. He is an amazing teacher and tennis coach.
- Favorite quote or catchphrase: "I would like to be remembered as someone who did the best she could with the talent she had." – J.K. Rowling
- Most cherished high school memory: The House Project in my physics class. We were assigned to design and wire the electric circuits for a model house, so my group, Team Synergy, built a castle with a spinning spiral staircase, a fire-breathing dragon, and green glitter. Go Team Synergy!
