A Note From the Art Room
Hello Tabb Tigers,
  New Art Gallery

artMy name is Mrs. Mulkey and I am the Art teacher at Tabb Elementary. This will be my second year at Tabb since coming from North Carolina and teaching Art at the middle school level, and I have to say that Tabb is GREAT place to be.  I am very excited about the 07’- 08’ school year and all the fun things we have planned in Art. From wire sculpting, basket weaving to clay your child will find something that he or she will be successful at.
I would also like to WELCOME all Tabb family members to visit the Art room to see your child’s creative process or communicate openly any concerns or thoughts that you may have. I hope that we can make this a very CREATIVE year at Tabb. Have a great year!

Art Objective
My objective in the Art program is to teach each child, as an individual, through a variety of mediums to creatively and effectively express themselves through visual representation.

Reward System
•Artist of the Week  ~ Given for effort and behavior
•Class Stickers    ~ Given for following directions as a class
•Verbal Praise for showing effort and good behavior

WANTED!! Visiting Artist. I would love for any artist to share their talents.
No matter what: weaving, story telling, graphic design... you name it. Showing a variety of different arts enriches the program and gives the students an appreciation for the arts.
