Hi! I am excited to
join the THS family for the 2007-2008 school
year. Although I am new to Tabb, I am not new to teaching.
In five
years of teaching, I've had a variety of experiences in a variety of
places. Originally, from the Houston-area, I was awarded a B.A.
in
History from Rice University in 2002. In my first three years, I
taught A.P.
U.S. History at a large suburban high school in southwest
Houston. For
the next year and a half, I taught A.P. and regular World History and
U.S. History at a small rural school in the Texas Panhandle.
Finally,
I spent a semester teaching middle school Civics and Economics in
Newport News. I am very excited to be at Tabb and hope to
continue the
A.P. success my students have had in the past. |
