Parent Involvement

Parental involvement is emphasized. Title I staff invite parents to call or meet with them as needed throughout the school year. Parents are also invited to schedule times to observe their students' lessons both in the classroom and in Title I reading lessons. Workshops for parents are provided each quarter of the school year.

Title I Parent Advisory Council
Each school receiving Title I funds requests to have three Title I Parent Advisory Council members, one per grade level. A representative from each school serves on the division-wide Title I Parent Advisory Council.
