Contacting Teachers

All Grade Levels:

If you have questions or concerns about your child's progress, you may contact individual teachers directly for a discussion or to set up an appointment to meet with a specific teacher.  You may call 898-0320 and ask to be transferred to the teacher's classroom number.  You may also correspond with teachers using email; links to faculty email addresses are available at the TMS website: www.yorkcountyschools.org/tms/index.html

6^th Grade Parent/Teacher Conferences

If you would like to conference with all of your child's core teachers, you may contact any teacher on the team to set up a conference appointment.  Team conferences are typically scheduled during the afternoon between 1:00 and 2:30 pm when the team teachers have common planning time. 

7^th & 8^th Grade Student/ Parent/Teacher Conferences

If you would like to conference with all of your child's core teachers, you may call your child's guidance counselor to arrange a conference appointment.  7^th and 8^th grade conferences are usually set up during common teacher planning times which are at 8:40 for 8^th grade and 10:45 for 7^th grade. 

Our belief at TMS is that as students mature, they should be active participants in discussions about their progress in school.  Therefore, we usually invite students to participate in their conferences and engage in conversations with the their teachers, parents and guidance counselor.
