The next PTA General Membership Meeting will be held in conjunction with a Stomp performance on April 17 at 7:00.  
 
The 2008-2009 T-Shirt Design Contest is here! All students are encouraged to enter the contest for a chance to have their artwork and name printed on the TMS t-shirts for next year.  Entry forms with the rules for the contest were sent home with students and extra forms can be found in the TMS office.  To enter, students must attach original artwork to the completed entry form and submit it to their first period teacher by Wednesday, April 16th.  The designs will be voted on by all TMS students during the week of April 21st.  Good luck, everyone.
 
The Scholastic Book Fair "Buy One Get One Free" is coming April 28-May 2.  Our librarian is looking for adult volunteers to help with this event. She needs help with setup Friday morning, April 25th, and in 2-hour shifts throughout the week. Please contact me gzimmerman6@cox.net to volunteer.
 
The date has been set for this year’s 8th Grade Celebration dance—June 7!  If you would like to participate on the committees for decorating, refreshments, or photos, please contact Traci Hendron at pentree5@aol.com or 813-1156.
 
If you work for an organization that does educational outreach to the community, or if you would be willing to share your career experience with the students at TMS, please call me.  I would love to talk to you or your company about visiting TMS as an “in-house” field trip.
 
Volunteers are still needed to help stencil the walls of TMS with school spirit.  Please contact Melinda Geskey at melgeskey@yahoo.com or 867-1014 if you are interested in helping out – any day, any time.  Stenciling experience is helpful, but certainly not required.  All supplies are provided – we just need adult volunteers to help brighten our hallways!
