The Mission of the
PTA
To
support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in
the
community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that
make
decisions affecting children;
To
assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect
their
children;
To
encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this
nation.
PTA
Organizational Goals
Communicate
the purpose, function, and importance
of the PTA and how it adds to our children’s school
experience;
Balance
our committees to better reflect the
purpose and function of the PTA;
Increase
volunteer participation and membership by
providing meaningful opportunities to contribute to the school and
community;
Sponsor
and support educational, informational, and
recreational programs that our children and their families can enjoy;
Represent
our school
community to local and state organizations.
