New tutoring program at Yorktown Middle School

Extra learning sessions for students needing help in Math
and English

Sessions will be during the school day Tuesdays and
Thursdays from Oct. 16th to mid May 2008

Teachers will select students for tutoring on a weekly basis

Tutoring sessions
will be held during the school day in place of encore
classes
-
Students will not
be penalized for missing their encore class, but they will
be expected to make up any work.. Students should talk with
their encore teachers concerning assignments and due dates.
