National Merit Semifinalists
Congratulations to the four YCSD seniors named National Merit Semifinalists, Mabel Brockman, Logan Cone, Jet Pham and Shyota Smith!
More than 1.2 million students across approximately 20,000 high schools entered the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the PSAT/NMSQT. Semifinalists represent less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors and include the highest-scoring entrants in each state.
These students now have the opportunity to continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships to be awarded next spring. Share a congratulatory note for our exceptional students in the comments.
