Seaford Elementary Visits the Past

Posted On: Thursday, December 10, 2009

Mid White, age 93 and great-grandmother to fourth grade student Noah Beach, visited the first grade students at Seaford Elementary School to highlight their lesson unit on learning the differences between the past and the present. Mrs. White described to students her two room school house with students between the ages of six and sixteen. She told the students about her seven mile ride to school on her pony. Mrs. White was also able to share photos, including pictures of her childhood home, for students to be able to visualize the clothing, buildings and styles of the early 1900's.
