Bringing Invisible Children to Light

The Invisible Children’s Club, new this year to Tabb High School, is a group of students that has undertaken the task of increasing awareness of less fortunate children. This group, sponsored by Michael Martinez has raised $2,600 over the past two weeks for their cause through an awareness campaign designed to enlighten the community to the plight of children living in war torn countries and secure donations. This money will travel to Rwanda and Uganda to help with the rebuilding of schools and to provide school supplies. The club plans on continuing its fundraising efforts throughout the school year.
