GBES Honored as a National Blue Ribbon School

Mindy Sumner’s third grade class joins Grafton Bethel Elementary School principal Karen Grass and assistant principal Kristin Carroll in celebrating being named a national Blue Ribbon School. The school is one of only 304 schools nationwide to be awarded the US Department of Education’s Blue Ribbon this year. The award honors public and private elementary, middle and high schools whose students achieve at very high levels or have made significant progress and helped close gaps in achievement especially among disadvantaged and minority students.
