Seaford Elementary’s Cutest Pet Contest Winners Announced

Seaford Elementary School’s SCA sponsored a Cutest Pet Contest to raise money for the American Heart Association. Over 230 contestants participated by donating one dollar per entry. Pets included: cats, dogs, birds, lizards and horses. Pets were judged in three categories: Cutest Pose, Cutest Outfit and Most Unusual Pet. The contest was judged by York County School Division Superintendent, Eric Williams, Ed.D., YCSD Coordinator of Community and Public Relations, Betsy Overkamp-Smith, Seaford Elementary ACI Coordinator, Suzy Trench. Winner of the Cutest Pose was 4th grader Sean Connelly and his cat Victoria. Winner of the Cutest Outfit was 1st grader Adrienne Byrum and her dog Jake. Winner of the Most Unusual Pet was 2nd grader Kelsey Hensberger and her bearded dragons, Jagger and Spot. Each winner received a Seaford Elementary stuffed bulldog and a $10 gift card to PetCo.
