Grafton Bethel Elementary School (GBES) K-Kids just completed their third annual "Pennies for Patients" campaign. “Pennies for Patients” is a two-week campaign in which students of all ages are encouraged to donate spare change to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Overall, GBES collected $3,138.58! Annyce True's second grade class was the winning homeroom and will be awarded a pasta party from the Olive Garden Restaurant. To celebrate the success of this campaign Karen Grass, Ed.D., GBES principal, rode her bike through the school as students cheered her on along the hallways.
