The York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. had a great time on their Spring Innovative Grant Prize Patrol Wednesday, March 2nd. The YFPE also celebrated the first annual named grant for spring from Chad Green, titled, “Chad Green Reading for Merit Innovative Grant in Honor of Katherine Snead.” Myra Ingram, a Kindergarten teacher from Yorktown Elementary School (YES) was the lucky recipient of this grant. Ms. Ingram’s class was very excited to meet the YFPE, Inc. Prize Patrol and especially enjoyed Mr. Green’s tips regarding reading.
