The Yorktown Middle School (YMS) Eighth Grade Academic Honors Social was held on May 31. Eighth grade students that made the Principal’s Honor Roll by receiving straight A's on their report cards for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and student’s who earned A-B Honor Roll for all three grades, were invited and presented an award for their academic accomplishment. Entertainment for the evening was provided by eighth graders, Matthew Shih, Youngrok Chae, and Katherine Strike, who performed instrumental solos and duets. Antonia Fox, York High School Principal and Elizabeth Roberts, a York High School senior, were the keynote speakers.

 

Honorees for Principal’s Honor Roll are: Ethan Jones, Madeline Jones, Jessie Jung, Bennett Keene, Alexander Liang, Kristie Robles, Matthew Shih, and Katherine Strike
