Free Adult Education Classes

The York County School Division is offering Adult Education classes free of charge. For information please contact Kathy Phillips, Adult Education Coordinator, at 833-2259. Class offerings include:
  • English as a Second Language classes: starting Sep. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Bethel Baptist Church, 1004 Yorktown Rd. or Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Tabb High School, room 202, 4431 Big Bethel Road, Yorktown.
  • GED® classes: starting Sep. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to noon or 6:30 to 9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Lifelong Learning Center at York High School, 9300 George Washington Memorial Highway, Yorktown.
  • GED® testing: Call for times and location.
