Fashion Show for a Cause

Posted On: Thursday, May 10, 2012
Tabb High School's (THS) Fashion Marketing Classes hosted their Annual Fashion Show for a Cause on Thursday April 26th. This year's fundraising cause was Cystic Fibrosis. Thirty-eight student and faculty models participated in the show. Admissions and door prize drawings netted $1000 for Cystic Fibrosis.

Marketing teacher-coordinator Christina Majka, along with students Becca Mackey and Chanda Lackie, supported "Team Amanda," in honor of Amanda Varnes, who has the disease. “Team Amanda” walked to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research. The team walked 2 miles at William and Mary Hall on Saturday May 5th and presented the check for the $1000 donation during the reception following the walk. An additional $400 in donations was collected and then presented to the team by Christina Majka.
