Grafton Bethel Elementary School (GBES) second graders in Karolyn Blackburn's class read a story about selling lemonade. In the story a group of kids wanted to fix their clubhouse but needed money which they decided to earn by selling lemonade. The story showed the process of how the kids made it, sold it and graphed how much they had sold. They earned enough to fix the clubhouse; making lemonade out of lemons. As a follow up activity, Erin Dixon, para-educator, brought the fixings for lemonade and assisted the students in making their own lemonade.
