Tabb High School Varsity Field Hockey team won the Westfield tournament in Chantilly the last weekend of August. They tied the national record for consecutive shutouts, set in 1997 by a Pennsyvlania high school, with an 8-0 win over James Madison High in game one and then broke the record with a 4-0 victory over Lake Braddock in game two. The Tigers play host to Cox on Thursday at 7 p.m. Cox was the last team to score a goal against Tabb during last year’s season opener game. |
