Tabb Field Hockey Team Sets National Record

Tabb High School Varsity Field Hockey team won the Westfield tournament in Chantilly the last weekend of August. They tied the national record for consecutive shutouts, set in 1997 by a Pennsyvlania high school, with an 8-0 win over James Madison High in game one and then broke the record with a 4-0 victory over Lake Braddock in game two.

The Tigers play host to Cox on Thursday at 7 p.m. Cox was the last team to score a goal against Tabb during last year’s season opener game.
