Tabb High Reduces Carbon Footprint

Posted On: Thursday, December 03, 2009

When you visit Tabb High School on any given Wednesday afternoon you will see students in the halls carrying boxes full of recyclable paper from the classrooms to the recycling dumpster behind the building. Club Earth's members are dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of Tabb High School and are encouraging their peers and teachers to do the same. Right now the club collects paper and cardboard and places it in the recycling dumpster at the building. In the future the club hopes to use its funds to put an infrastructure in place for the collection and recycling of plastic, glass and aluminum.
