A TMS teacher who coaches one of the robotics teams explained, "We had a successful first year of competition. We generated so much interest that we were able to form 2 teams. We met as a team twice per week to prepare for the regional competition in early November. The season goes very quickly and there was much to be done. We had a great showing at the competition and did very well against some veteran teams. Now that we know what to expect and the students are familiar with the robots and programming next year should be even better. We will start meeting again in early September. Thank you for supporting our program!"
