Policy Manual & Regulations
The York County School Division operates according to the policies established by the School Board of York County. The Policy Manual is aligned with the classification system developed by the National School Boards Association. There are 12 classification sections, each assigned an alphabetical code. When necessary, policies are implemented through Superintendent's Regulations. Policy development is a continuing process, with all policies and regulations reviewed at least every four years or as needed due to changes in state or federal law or school division recommendations.
School Board Policy Manual and all Superintendent's Regulations are available on the BoardDocs platform. Users are able to easily search for policies or regulations by topics and keywords.
